The 3D effect glitch, also known the graphics cache flushing oversight is a glitch in Pokémon X and Y that causes incorrect graphics data (either whiteness or graphics from another location) to be displayed on screen for the left eye. It occurs in the latest version of the game.
- Go to Frost Cavern, north of Dendemille Town, with a Pokémon knowing Surf.
- Turn on the 3D effect somewhere, and then keep it off.
- Re-activate the 3D effect for the animation for when Surf is about to be used.
