This glitch is for a home console Pokémon game.

The Dark Void glitch, or Magic Coat glitch is a small animation quirk only present in Pokémon Battle Revolution. It is exploitable by having the user's Pokémon, or an opponent's Pokémon use the move Dark Void whilst the other Pokémon uses the move Magic Coat. If Magic Coat successfully reflects Dark Void, it is reflected as normal but before the Dark Void animation has even started. Consequently, at the end of the turn, the animation starts for the user of Dark Void, even if under normal circumstances it would be unable to make a move. Since Magic Coat was used prior to Dark Void, the animation effects are purely cosmetic and as normal, the game switches to the next Pokémon's turn.
