Easter egg

Easter eggs are generally defined as intentionally hidden features in video games, in particular jokes, secret messages or images.
However, it is not to be confused with unused content or prerelease information, which may not be Easter eggs but rather features that were once planned to be in the final game.
Two examples of Easter eggs in the Pokémon games are the inclusion of the S.S. Anne Ship Truck, as well as the appearance of diamond dust. However, there are many others. These may be found under Category:Easter eggs.
