Glitch genders are unintended 'genders' in the Pokémon games other than male and female.
In Generation III
The "Guess Who" glitch (available with Pomeg data corruption glitch) will allow for the player to become a random gender. These genders have the sprites of many other NPCs in the game, other than Brendan and May.
Using some glitch genders, it is possible to view unused overworld sprites such as the Mendel Palace sumo.
In Generation IV
In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, using a cheating device, it is possible to play as the hex:02 gender. This is a third gender with traits of both Ethan and Lyra, as well as Lance.
