Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a role-playing game for the Game Boy Color. It is known as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in most regions, but these glitches have only been confirmed in the American release.

Enemy attack skip

Hitting A at a particular frame during the opponent's turn will cause their turn to restart. While they will still attack once this process stops, if the glitch is performed repeatedly while the enemy is poisoned, they will take large amounts of damage before the player's next turn begins, ideally enough to be defeated.

Train skip

It is possible to bypass some of the events intended to occur on the train. One can either enter the menu, select the Folio Triplicus, and execute a card combo twice, each time making the game assume the player is in a battle, or to execute a card combo once and then talk to the NPC positioned directly to the left of the player. The latter is confirmed to be in effect when the NPC's dialogue doesn't pop up and all of the sprites turn black, with the background palette also changing to a darker hue. The player then needs to talk to Neville and then walk upward into the carriage to his left, walking up to the top and then back downward while hitting A within a small window. The glitch is confirmed to have succeeded if the door opening sound effect plays. Shortly afterward, the train event will end.

FrogExp

After performing the train skip, the next battle the player enters will be against a frog enemy and a glitched sprite that can't attack. Upon defeating the frog, Harry will gain an absurd 52,236 experience points, instantly elevating him to level 90. (The amount of sickles will appear glitched, but is actually a negligibly small amount.)

Troll skip

Opening the menu when walking up to the area that triggers the scene for the troll battle with very precise timing will cause the game to skip to the event after the battle after the menu is closed. Due to the precision necessary and length of the battle if this window is missed, it is recommended to save before attempting this glitch, even in a speedrun.
