(hex:6A) is a glitch item in Pokémon Blue (Japanese). Its name "ゴールドバッヂ" (GoldBadge) is taken from the unused Japanese list strings, and is not to be confused with the actual MarshBadge (ゴールドバッジ, Gold Badge).

Using this glitch item will causes the sprites to disappear immediately until pressing B. Pressing B again will return control to the overworld.

If used in battle (for both Japanese Blue and Red/Green v1.1), the screen will turn white, but it is still possible to run from battle and restore it back to normal (however the player will have to do this while the screen is still white).
