This article details various glitch meta-map scripts for Route 5's gate in Pokémon Red and Blue. The script is controlled by memory address D662.
- 0x02: Game freeze, music stops but screen remains 'normal' although guard NPC does not appear.
- 0x03: Arbitrary code execution (D3EA)

- 0x05: ACE (ECH0: EA01 i.e. CA01)
- 0x06: ACE (CD38)
- 0x07: VRAM execution at 86C3/freeze
- 0x08: ACE (ECH0: FA34 i.e. DA34)
- 0x09: ACE (D728)
- 0x0A: VRAM execution at 8000/freeze

- 0x0C: Game freeze
- 0x0D: ACE (SRAM: BFCD)
- 0x0E: ACE (D034)
- 0x0F: Invalid opcode 0xE3 at 0:0244 (freeze). If on Virtual Console, might attempt ACE at SRAM:A73E, however may always be locked resulting in a freeze.
- 0x10: Unknown/game does not freeze
- 0x11: ACE (SRAM: AFD5)
- 0x12: ACE (SRAM: B4E0)
- 0x13: Unknown/game does not freeze
- 0x14: VRAM execution at 9F21/freeze
- 0x15: ACE (CD65)
