Select Glitch

In any location, a recommended place is right at your ship, move left and right or up and down while rapidly pressing the select button. It will take a few tries but if performed correctly, whatever just disappeared off screen will appear on the other side. This can be used to go into an area that is not intended to be entered. If you enter an area of glitched area, then it is impossible to leave forcing you to turn off the game. There are sometimes save machines in these areas. Saving on one will ruin your save file. It is not recommended.

Writer's Note: If you are using an emulator and the emulator is running above 60%, substitute SELECT with AUTOFIRE START. Make sure your autofire is set to as high as possible, if available.
