It seems some CC26 values point to RAM. Or at least change the way they point to based on ram. --Kelvinv (talk) 15:54, 7 September 2018 (-06)

I've encountered FF as Silph Scope Itemfinder and Poké Flute --Kelvinv (talk) 04:54, 8 September 2018 (-06)

Yeah, from how you describe it it seems to be like CoolTrainer's internal name (or other chaotic names). TheZZAZZGlitch talked about that regarding CoolTrainer here, which is to do with the game looking for xth 0x50 character after a certain point, and how this varies a lot based on the RAM and how many 0x50 characters there are in memory. Nice work by the way! Thank you! :) --Torchickens (talk) 06:33, 8 September 2018 (-06)

Other CC26 ideas

Maybe we can try:

  • Game Corner prizes
  • Vending machines
  • Lift destinations
  • Cerulean City Badge describer options

I've also found cc25 controls which character is being selected on the Name screen. I've already entered some glitch characters that way Kelvinv (talk) 09:28, 8 September 2018 (-06)

only odd values work that way though Kelvinv (talk) 09:29, 8 September 2018 (-06)
I've now discovered that glitch even values work the same as the next odd value Kelvinv (talk) 09:34, 8 September 2018 (-06)

Changing it to 15 on the first row causes it to be 7f Kelvinv (talk) 09:38, 8 September 2018 (-06)

Unfortunately the only glitch accessible glitch character seems to be 7c Kelvinv (talk) 09:46, 8 September 2018 (-06)

and 7a, which are used by the tile border on the name screen Kelvinv (talk) 09:53, 8 September 2018 (-06)
