Should this be considered as a major glitch, or miscellaneous ?

As the "dry" method has been found, it became suddenly much more useful (like the Trainer-less method of the Trainer-Fly glitch), so it may be appropriate to move this glitch to another category.

Yes, I consider it as a major glitch. In addition to creating Trainer-Flies, you can use it to manipulate a map's level-script pointer and execute arbitrary code. You can use it to activate the Hall of Fame if you want, get any item via the looping map trick, change your money at will, use it to change your rival's name for Rival CoolTrainer/LOL glitch and so on.
