Bug Catcher can be fought with the Ditto glitch sub-glitch of the [[Trainer escape glitch]] with a Special stat of 202. The last Attack stage of the foe (starting at 07: neutral and can be reduced to 01 with an Attack lowering move, i.e. Growl used against foe or up to 13 with an Attack raising move, i.e. Swords Dance used by foe) will determine the roster.
Bug Catcher can also be fought in Red/Blue using the unavailable 0xCA character as the third, fifth or seventh [[old man trick]] name (possible in theory with [[Super Glitch (Generation I)|Super Glitch]], or possible with [[arbitrary code execution]]), but will use the rosters of [[
