It is unknown why this Ability was never used in the final versions of Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Sapphire and Pokémon Emerald but it could be suggested that this Ability was going to be used for Loudred and Exploud because on a Japanese version of an [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Exploud_(Great_Encounters_17)#Trivia Exploud card] one of Exploud's moves is Cacophony, however when those cards were officially translated into English this was changed to 'Ambient voice.' |
