So if you changed the beat up attack to say the attack "Detect", Which has a HEX of C5, then the Pokemon that has a hex of C5, which is Umbreon by the way, would be the end result. Sneasel does not need to be used in this glitch, Sneasel is only used because it is the only Pokemon to learn the beat up attack. So that is how you get any Pokemon you want.
