The '''Footprint Glitch''' or sometimes specifically the '''''Dewford Gym Footprintfootprint Glitch''glitch''' is a minor glitch which only exists in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and SapphireEmerald. When the player walks across sand he or she will normally leave footprints, however if anwhen obstaclethe player is suchoutside asof the Dewford Town gym, if a Dewford Gym wall is one layertile above the player (the door does not apply) no footprints will be left even ifthough sand is underneath the player's feet.
