A working angle to speak with the chef (screen courtesy of PokeTipsOfficial)

The disguised chef Ditto glitch is a glitch in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

It involves a chef in a Koni Koni City mini-quest, in which the player must defeat Ditto disguised as NPCs.

The chef is located in a restaurant, just south of the building with a hammer icon on its sign.

If the player speaks to the chef from a specific angle and either defeats/captures the Ditto, then it is possible for the chef to walk in a path but become blocked by the player (and with controls disabled), soft-locking the game.
