Contrary to popular belief, there exists a Safari Zone in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. A [[game-altering]] device must be used to access it, however.
There is a Safari Zone in Pokemon GSC. And you don't have to hack the ROM to get to it. You can just use a [[GameShark]] to get there.
The codes for [[GameShark]] that work on the Gold and Silver versions of Pokémon to access the gatehouse are:

Note that these are currently only Pokemon Gold and Silver codes, but we'll try to find some for Pokemon Crystal.

To get there, you just enter whateverany door is near you with the codes on. You'llThe player bewill arrive in the Safari Zone's entry room,. soAt youthis got topoint, turn off the codes.

NowHere, youone could just go back outside and you will find yourselfhis or herself inside the wall of the closed-down Safari Zone building in Fuchsia City, Kanto.

YouThe player can get back inside by turning back on the codes and entering a building.
 
But the purpose of this [[glitch]] is to get into Safari Zone. So you, go through the north doors in the room with the codes off,. andThere youwill don'tbe havenobody tothat paythe anyplayer invisiblehas manto or anything like thatpay.
 
You'llThe player will find yourselfhim or herself in a somewhat [[glitch_(verb)|glitched]] Safari Zone, but most of the tiles are completed. YouThe player can't not go back in though, and youbut can gobe aroundon the glitchglitched tiles youhe or cameshe outentered from.

If you go up and explore it, you will findThere some normal grass and a lot of tall grass, and a pond with no sand around it. Unfortunately, Safari Zone is prettyrather small and there are no Wildwild PokemonPokémon, not even [[?????]].
