Glitch City is a generic term used to describe an 'area' which is a glitchy mess of tiles. These are technically generated using an existing location in most circumstances.

The most well-known type of Glitch City is a wrong warp Glitch City caused by the Safari Zone exit glitch.

"Glitch City" does not refer to when the game's colors are altered among other minor things. Instead, this is often referred to as a Glitch Dimension.
