They are different to [[Map 69 (French Red/Blue)|map 0x69 in French versions]] (a [[descent glitch map]]) and [[Map 0x69 (Spanish Red/Blue)|map 0x69 in Spanish versions]], which load but don't immediately freeze the game, and map 0x69 in German and Italian versions which may only freeze the game with a white freeze.

The maps can be accessed through modification of exit destination address $D365 to 0x69 or 0x6A, by changing the quantity item 36 in the [[expanded items pack]] or [[cheating device|GameShark]] code 016965D3/016A65D3.

It appears as an indoor Glitch City. Upon accessing it, the game may show a 'pushed boulder' animation and immediately reset.

It has a map script that executes address 00C6 in the ROM. If the map script is disabled then the game may instead freeze.

According to the Town Map, map 0x69 or map 0x6A is located on Victory Road.
