Glitch field moves are invalid field moves (like the valid Cut, Fly, Surf, Teleport, etc.) in the Pokémon games.

In Generation I

In Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, valid field moves appear to range between IDs 01 and 09. There is also an unused field move.

They can be accessed with code 01xx3DCD (or with arbitrary code execution to lock a value to CD3D) by using a normal field move. The ID in the code replaces the original effect.

In Generation II

In Pokémon Gold and Silver, code 01xxD6D0 can be used to alter field move names on the party screen. There is also an invalid field move known as Error! (hex:15).
