'''Glitch time periods''' (also referred to as '''glitch time zones''') can be found in {{GSC}}. Normal time periods are stored as 00 (morning), 01 (noon), 02 (evening). A third time period, value 03, nicknamed "late night" is fully black. Playing the game with this time period active can result in unintended/glitch Pokémon in the wild.
Game Genie codes xx0-3fb-193, 3e0-3eb-6e6 will allow glitch time periods to be accessed in English Gold/Silver (where xx should be replaced with 03 or above).
