The Glitched Pokémon Center in Generation III refers to the effect for when the player tries to heal their Pokémon when they have none.

In Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow when the player attempts to heal at a PokéCenter with no Pokémon, invalid Poké Ball tiles cover the screen corresponding to Pokémon beyond slot six and mass corruption of data will occur.

The same effect also occurs in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald as well as Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, but instead of glitch tiles appearing actual Poké Ball sprites are used, causing no Glitch City-like effect.

Procedure

  1. Start a new game.
  2. Have a walk-through-walls cheating device code on.
  3. Walk to the Pokémon Center without getting a Pokémon or battling a Pokémon (without having the "Max Stats" code active.)
  4. Enter the PokéCenter and heal your Pokémon.
