It does not seem to work in [[bp:Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Version|Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver]].
In [[bp:Sinnoh Route 225|Route 225]], there are grass tiles above some steps (the most southern steps on [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Sinnoh_Route_225_Pt.png this map]). Going up or down the steps may make grass appear in the player's head for a short time.
