It is seen between 'Ice Path' and 'Pallet Town', so it may be a separator for Kanto and Johto locations. In Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal, "'''N/A'''" refers to a specific [[error handler]] which appears in the index of map locations which are displayable on the Town Map. Its function however, is unknown, although it may act as a placeholder for undefined, or previously removed town map locations.
