Using this glitch item outside of battle with a [[0x50 sub-tile]] early enough on the screen results in Professor Oak's message that it isn't the time to use the item. If the same applies in battle (via [[cheating device|GameShark]] code 0150A0C3 or theoretically [[OAM DMA hijacking]]) then it also results in the wrong time message.
This glitch item shares its effect pointer with item $18 ([[RainbowBadge (glitch item)|RAINBOWBADGE]]).
