(hex:A6) is a glitch item in RB. It is both an unterminated name glitch item and a Rival's effect glitch item.

It is an unterminated name glitch item, hence provides the effects associated with those glitches and allows for glitches such as Yami Shop glitch and LOL glitch.
As it is an unterminated name glitch item, it has effects associated with those items, and can be used for screen data exploits like LOL glitch, Yami Shop glitch or will usually cause the TMTRAINER effect in battle.

When a 0x50 sub-tile is in the saved screen copy, this glitch item will act as a Lemonade, restoring 80 HP or displaying a message that it won't have any effect if the target Pokémon's HP is full. This only applies outside of battle, and if used in battle and the same conditions apply (via GameShark code 0150A0C3 or theoretically OAM DMA hijacking), then the game may bring up Professor Oak's message that it isn't the time to use the item.
It is also a Rival's effect glitch item, hence allows for the player to clip through walls that are one tile thick after closing the Pokémon menu.

If a 0x50 sub-tile is early enough in the saved screen data, then this item will act as a healing item that restores 80 HP when used outside of battle. When it is used in battle and the same applies (via GameShark code 0150A0C3 or theoretically OAM DMA hijacking), it may bring up Professor Oak's message that it isn't the time to use the item.

This glitch item shares its effect pointer with item $26 (CARBOS).

(hex:A6) is a glitch item in Pokémon Red and Blue. It is both an unterminated name glitch item and a Rival's effect glitch item.

This glitch item shares its effect pointer with item $26 (CARBOS).
