When used in battle, it will have the Poké Doll effect (it will enable the player to escape from a wild Pokémon battle but Professor Oak's message that it isn't the time to use the item will be brought up in a Trainer battle). This includes reducing the quantity of the item by one.
This glitch item shares its effect pointer with item $33 (POKé DOLL).
