The '''item creation Select glitch''', also known as the '''make your own items glitch''' is a [[Select glitch]] in {{RGB}}. It allows the player to convert part of a Pokémon's nickname into items.
This select button glitch can be used to change up to five items in Red/Green/Blue, without the need of an item duplicating or item changing glitch Pokémon. Press the select button on the 14th item, exit with B, B and swap it with the fifth Pokémon in battle to replace it with a level 0 glitchy Pokémon without any moves.
