==Explanation==

For certain attacking moves the Life Orb recoil hits the Pokémon before the move is performed, whilst for every other attacking move the Life Orb recoil happens after the move is performed. The exact reasoning behind this is uncomfirmed although it could be suggested purely by speculation that certain moves such as [[bp:Overheat|Overheat]] would require the opponent to 'gather energy first' unlike mostly physical moves such as Close Combat which are performed 'immediately'.

The engine in Pokémon Battle Revolution ensures that a Pokémon will faint immediately after its hitpoints reaches zero and not necessarily at the end of the turn. This is required for moves such as [[bp:Spikes|Spikes]] which should faint a Pokémon as soon as it comes out of its Pokéball if it is on low hitpoints. In this case, the Pokémon has fainted but the turn still hasn't finished. Even though the Pokémon has fainted, nothing prevents the game from performing the next logical action by using the next move.

Heat Wave's animation activating after a Flareon has fainted.

The Life Orb glitch is a glitch in Pokémon Battle Revolution.

If the opponent's current Pokémon holds a Life Orb and uses Heat Wave the Pokémon may faint from the Life Orb damage before using the move. Immediately after the Pokémon faints, the move is performed, which makes it appear as if no Pokémon had performed the move.
