Mega Man X is an action-platforming game developed and published by Capcom for the SNES.
Above Flame Mammoth's stage
In Flame Mammoth's stage, jump one one of the falling Utuboros and wall jump up the tubes that they fall from. Note that the tube itself has no collision, so it is necessary to jump high enough to wall jump off of the hidden gap in the ceiling. This glitch was fixed in the European versions of the game. This glitch also causes several things to not load properly. The subtank has a glitched out sprite, the enemies become invisible and the arm upgrade capsule does not appear at all.
Magic Carpet Glitch
In Storm Eagle's Stage, use the Boomerang Cutter to grab the life up tank and dash away. Catching the tank while falling can cause the tank to become a platform that follows X's position. The background will bug out and this platform can be used to ride to the end of the level.
Shotgun Ice Clip Glitch
Using a charged Shotgun ice on a ladder will result in X becoming partially clipped into the wall. Repeated use will result in X getting clipped further into the wall.
Disappearing Feet Glitch
If the player uses a password to finish the game without getting the foot parts, X will have the foot parts regardless during the scene where Sigma's fortress collapses. X's legs will also disappear when he dashes in the ending.
