This article details various glitch meta-map scripts for Victory Road 3F in Pokémon Red and Blue.

This script is controlled by memory address D640.

Highlights

  • 0x01: Trainer escape glitch Special stat encounter compatible script
  • 0x02, 0x07, 0x0A, 0x0F-0x10, 0x12, 0x14-0x15: Unknown effect/game may not freeze
  • 0x03: Glitch audio may play, followed by Trainer approach music, followed by a freeze (possibly if player moves)
  • 0x04-0x06, 0x08, 0x0B, 0x0E, 0x11, 0x13, 0x16: Game may freeze
  • 0x09, 0x0D: May cause a Glitch City. Effects appears to affect visuals only (same movement permissions as usual). However, might affect RAM (around DA80+ region), as cursor began to flicker. Other times may not cause a Glitch City and game may freeze.
  • 0x0C: Controls may lock until A/B is pressed; causing a game freeze
