None is a glitch item occupying no item (or item hex:0000) introduced in the Generation IV core games. It also appears in Generation V.
"None" appears as a referenced string in the game's internal text. It can also appear as the name of a Mystery Gift item if there is an item delivery with an unspecified item. It is also referenced in the choice item lock glitch in Generation V.
