None is a glitch item occupying no item (or item hex:0000) introduced in the Generation IV core games. It also appears in Generation V.
Originally, "None" was only known in the game's internal text, and it can appear as the name of a Mystery Gift item if there is an item delivery with an unspecified item. However, it is also referenced in the choice item lock glitch in Generation V.
