The Poké Mart marquee glitch is a programming oversight in all released versions of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as of 2015-3-1.

In the Kalos games, a scrolling marquee sign in shops displays simplified item sprites, with made up symbols as their names and an arrow connecting the two; before the Pokèdex is obtained, Poké Balls will also have the "X |♦" symbols next to the arrow to indicate their unavailability.

In the Hoenn generation VI games, however, this symbol is permanently displayed regardless of progress in the game.
