The Glitch Pokemon League Maps are an unusual group of unique, glitched maps which share the same header. These maps can occupy hexadecimal identifiers of either ED (237), EE (238), F1 (240), F2 (241) F3 (242) or F4 (243) and only exist on Pokémon Yellow because the equivalent glitch maps for Pokémon Red and Blue simply crash the game.

The map data for any of these glitch locations are exactly the same but are exclusive to Pokémon Yellow and therefore cannot be accessed on Pokémon Green through the Doko-Kashira Door Glitch. The events which happen in these locations are pure glitch and likely correspond to the game attempting to read information from other bytes. It is notable that the player's sprite will be replaced; most commonly with a silhouette of the player or a female character and the player will be forced to spin in the direction he or she entered from.

It is possible that these glitch locations have been used to store data which did not exist on Pokemon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Green and as a result run odd events on the map interface. For example, although the default music for any of these glitch locations is the Silph Co. Theme it cannot usually be heard because the player will be forced into riding a bicycle. The player cannot see his or her location on the Town Map because the player is made to keep spinning in a particular direction. When the music for the Cycling Theme is about to loop the game will freeze for unknown reasons, presuming that the player does not use an game-altering device to stop his or herself from spinning.

Pokémon League descent glitch maps have only been reported in English Pokémon Yellow. The equivalent glitch maps for Pokémon Red and Blue simply crash the game.
If the town map is used in any variation of these areas (through the use of another code) the game will suggest that the player is in the Pokémon League. The actual appearences of these locations are quite unusual, because unlike variations of Glitch City they do not use a mixture of real tiles, instead they use glitched tiles. When accessed the game will act as if the player had used Fly, so he or she will arrive from the air.

Effects associated with Pokémon League descent glitch maps can also be seen after going to a number of other glitch maps, such as Map 0xE7 Glitch Hell (Japanese Yellow), Map 0x0B (French Yellow) and out of bounds Glitch Hell in Pikachu (v1.0) in Game Boy or Game Boy Color mode (but out of bounds Glitch Hell has only been confirmed on an emulator).

When accessed, the map will turn white and light blue, sometimes with blue bars and the player's sprite will be changed. It may become either a black and white version of Red, or a black and white female Trainer.
