Pokemon Stadium 2 has some error handlers of it's own. While there probably aren't as many as the handheld games, these are the ones currently known:

Glitch Pokemon and Unstable Hybrid Handler

Unlike the first Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2 has a way to deal with glitch pokemon to prevent problems. The game turns them into Ditto with their old glitch Pokemon name becoming a nickname for the said Ditto. (Color changing may appear but this is because of a quirk deliberately programmed into both Stadium games and not a glitch.)

In addition, it will also change any unstable hybrid back to the Pokemon it originally was, including Pokemon that were turned into Charizard 'M/Q. (The original Charizard 'M will be turned into a Ditto.) This can actually be advantageous for Pokemon whom don't evolve that the player wants to use the Q Trick on.
