Pokémon Cloning is the act of duplicating a Pokémon. It has multiple uses, such as item cloning and for trading valuable Pokémon on the Global Trading System. It can be done on each generation of the Pokémon Games so far, and all of the handheld Pokémon games except for the Ruby Version and the Sapphire Version. Each generation of the Pokémon games have their own unique methods for cloning Pokémon.
