The Professor Oak Trainer glitch is aan engine glitch in Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow engine glitch. It is, caused by a bug in the game's engine where removing the wall barriers on Sea Route 20 causes the trainers to turn into Professor Oak after talking to them. It was discovered by Crystal_ in 2020, documented by SailorMoonFan01 and analyzed by ChickasaurusGL.
 
After removing the wall barriers on the Sea Route 20, the trainers will turn into Professor Oak if the player talk to them.
 
==Procedure==
# Enable [[Brock Through Walls]] in Pewter City,
# Fly to Cinnabar Island
# Walk through the edge of the area where there is no water
# Touch the wall barrier that connects.
# GoOnce that is done go back to the signpost that reads Seafoam Islands
# WithoutTurn gettingaround an encounter,and talk to an unfoughtthe trainer with no encounters.
# TheOnce talking to the trainer it will turn into Professor Oak once talked to.
