The Professor Oak Trainer glitch is an engine glitch in Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow, caused by a bug in the game's engine where removing the wall barriers on Sea Route 20 causes the trainers to turn into Professor Oak after talking to them. Procedure
- Enable Brock Through Walls in Pewter City,
- Fly to Cinnabar Island
- Walk through the edge of the area where there is no water
- Touch the wall barrier that connects.
- Once that is done go back to the signpost that reads Seafoam Islands
- Turn around and talk to the trainer with no encounters.
- Once talking to the trainer it will turn into Professor Oak.
