The Sky Drop Spiky Shield glitch is a natural glitch in Pokémon Sun and Moon games that haven't had the v1.2 patch downloaded on to them.

It causes the Pokémon that used Sky Drop not be able to switch out or use moves if it faints due to Spiky Shield damage.
