Tool-assisted speedruns or tool-assisted super plays refers to a collection of gameplay inputs that originated from slowed down gameplay (such as frame by frame advance) and/or the generation of input automatically created by a computer.
Tool-assisted speedruns in the context of glitching allows for the player to achieve things that would not be viable for a regular, unassisted playthrough.
Examples

- rlmcintyre's Pokémon Yellow Total Control Hack TAS
- MrWint's Pokémon Yellow multi-game TAS
