how do i remove infinite experimentals??????????????????????????????
:Hi, first I have a few questions if that's OK;-
::1. which version are you using, is it Pokémon Green (the original or the unofficial translations?, a bootleg cart etc.),
::2. when you wanted to get "the item", which item or item(s) were you trying to receive.
::3. I know you never used cheats, curious if this includes any external devices (including save editors or backup tools like the Mega Memory Card - those could potentially have flaws; however on boot it would probably corrupt the save checksum unless a portion of SRAM was changed not affected by the checksum).
::4. Were you attempting to perform a glitch despite never having used cheats.
::5. Are those the only regions of the memory/save that were corrupted? Can you check other areas than the Pokédex and number of bag items (e.g. map scripts, whether there are hidden NPCs like the Snorlax etc.) which mysteriously may have changed? Did you accidentally perform the [[select glitch]]? (As with plenty of bag room [or at least 6 items], that could corrupt memory if you used it inadvertently either on a Pokémon switch as the receiver or one of its moves etc.).
::A corrupted PC and Pokédex listing is associated with the memory; specifically, PC items is one portion (of similar proximity to areas like 01:D532 W_TILESETTALKINGOVERTILES) and Pokédex listing (of similar proximity to the bag items) is another, for some reason something may have happened corrupting these. However, if you can detect other portions of the memory your phenomena corrupted, it might infer clues about the relatives size(s) of corruptions as well; hence my question 5.
::Hope this helps and sorry I'm unable to answer your question, and maybe with more information can find out for you.
