''I think that I might be able to explain; when regarding interfaces which list Pokémon, Items, Moves and other aspects of the game those Pokémon, Items and Moves list properly structured data up to a particular slot for example 7 if the player has six Pokémon in his or her party. This is exactly the same kind of thing with Ditto's Cooltrainer type move which corresponds to a hexadecimal identifier of 00 as a filler, when regarding the moves below the Cooltrainer type move it is almost unpredictable to predict what they are without properly analysing the structure of the game because this data corresponds to how the game displays information from other bytes. When you used the PP Up effectively this was like 'scrambling bytes' because the amount of PP Vicegrip had must have corresponded to something else, hence the really weird effects afterwards.

This is a really interesting subject though, it is along the lines how they discovered the [[Doko-Kashira Door Glitch]] on Pokémon Green. The player used to be able to switch items and Pokémon but what Nintendo missed was that players could also switch Pokémon with items! When he or she switches Oak's Parcel with Bulbasaur this will move Oak's Parcel to a slot past 01 in the Party screen and also 'shuffle' lots of data, particularly a combination of bytes which will make the next warp relative to the number of steps the player walks. --[[User:Torchickens|Torchickens]] 22:44, 14 February 2010 (UTC)''
