The Wonder Trade move glitch glitch was a glitch in Pokémon X and Y, where a Pokémon that should learn a new move through evolution does not learn the move. It was patched in version 1.2.

Since the latest version of the game must be used to go online and use Wonder Trade, this glitch no longer occurs.

Patch note

"Fixes an occasional bug causing Pokémon not to learn new moves after evolving through Wonder Trade."
