'''Ys: The Vanished Omens''' (also known as '''Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished''' or '''The Ancient Land of Ys''') is an action role-playing game originally released on the NEC PC-9801 to widespread acclaim, and later ported to many other systems and spawning a famous franchise as a result.

==Mirror Glitch==
In the Sega Master System version of the game, when the player attempts to buy a mirror from Pin's Pawn Shop three or more times, the game may execute a variety of routines. While many of these freeze the game, it has gained notability for the possibility of triggering beneficial effects, such as maximizing the player's level before fighting a single enemy, or warping directly to the credits.

For the credits warp in particular to be possible, the overworld view needs to be oriented asuch particularthat waythe priorbottom topixel enteringvisible is the shopbottom pixel of the middle set of buildings, but moving 8 pixels lower can allow the glitch to be performed 21 frames faster.
