Mirror Glitch

In the Sega Master System version of the game, when the player attempts to buy a mirror from Pin's Pawn Shop three or more times, the game may execute a variety of routines. While many of these freeze the game, it has gained notability for the possibility of triggering beneficial effects, such as maximizing the player's level before fighting a single enemy, or warping directly to the credits.

For the credits warp in particular to be possible, the overworld view needs to be oriented such that the bottom pixel visible is the bottom pixel of the middle set of buildings, but moving 8 pixels lower can allow the glitch to be performed 21 frames faster.
