Glitch map 0xF9 is a glitch map exclusive to Pokémon Red and Blue.
This glitch location can be seen with a Town Map name with 9s in it and may prompt the player to scroll the text. It may also be located in the ocean near Lavender Town.
Attempting to enter this glitch map may bring up a building Glitch City and activate the boulder push animation before freezing the game.
The player can make the game attempt to load it with GameShark code 01xx65D3 while standing in certain maps with exits such as a Pokémon Center and exiting the map, with value F9 for xx.
Alternatively the player can change the quantity of item 36 to 248.
