A glitch Pokémon with family 156, normally unused in English Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Artificial glitch Pokémon families are unused glitch Pokémon families (Pokédex numbers) in Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Since the Pokédex number affects much of a glitch Pokémon's data, unused glitch Pokémon families can result in unique glitch Pokémon and unique glitch Pokédex flags.

However, artificial glitch Pokémon families can only be seen with Game Genie codes or editing the ROM, hence the name.
