Boarding the Magnet Train early with ????? (00)'s map corruption (Spanish Crystal)

Please note that this glitch only exists in the Spanish version of the game.

Using a specific glitch technique for ????? map corruption in the Spanish version of Pokémon Crystal, it is possible to board the Magnet Train from Johto to Kanto before completing the game.

Steps

1. Save the game and reset>load it at this spot

2. View the status of ????? (00)

3. Make the following movements:

1 step left

2 steps up

2 steps left

4 steps up

4. Save and reset the game (map data may look similar to below before resetting)

5. Move 2 steps down

6. View the status of ????? again

7. Move 1 step up

8. Move 2 steps right
