Pokédex sorting 0x0B is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Crystal.

Effect

  • Arbitrary code execution at region C94C in RAM. Can be ended with a ret with no known issues.
  • Can press Select to get to mode selection screen, where a black screen may load with music still playing. Under unknown circumstances can progress to mode selection screen where player is immediately taken out of the Pokédex menu, or game is stuck on the black screen until eventual screen and sound corruption

When accessed with C7D8 method

  • Unknown effect for pressing A/game does not freeze
