Pokédex sorting 0x5C is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Crystal.
Effect
- Arbitrary code execution at region CFCB in RAM. Can be ended with only a ret with no known issues.
- Pressing Select to get to mode selection screen may freeze the game with a white screen
When accessed with C7D8 method
- Pressing A may cause the first seven Pokémon or so from the last listing to be printed on the screen without completely closing the mode selection screen. Can press B or Select to exit mode selection screen without any known issues.
